Described as “energetic” and “motivated by challenges,” it is no surprise that Dr. Tweet Coleman’s career has spanned positions as a senior FAA representative at the American Embassy in London, FAA Program Manager, and Regional Representative; Boeing 747 and 727 pilot with Continental Airlines, U.S. commercial carrier; Dale Carnegie communications coach; and surgical nurse with the Cleveland Clinic & Mayo Brothers Clinic (to name a few).
Tweet earned a master’s degree in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University—where she also served as an adjunct faculty member in Hawaii and London , England—and a Doctorate degree in Aerospace Aviation Education from Oklahoma State University.
" I have known Tweet for well over 25 years and she has always been 100% dedicated to whatever position she was assigned. She is very sharp, energetic, knowledgeable and just a fun person to be around. Tweet was the SPAM with the Honolulu FSDO, and I was part owner of a 135 airplane/helicopter business in Hilo, Hawaii. When Tweet was going to put on a Safety Seminar on the Big Island I always assisted in putting the word out assuring a large turnout. Eventually I followed her path and am now retired from the FAA along with being retired from the military. When is she going to run out of steam?"
